Self-Guided Field Trips

Registration for 2025 spring and summer self-guided field trips are now being accepted.

Introduction

Wildwood Park is south-central PA’s premier wetland and study area. Groups can experience 229 acres of shallow lake, swamp, riparian areas, field, forest and 6 miles of trails on an independent field trip. The Nature Center is open is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm and the park trails are open dawn until dusk. These amenities are open to the public year-round free of charge. Donations are welcome, checks can be made payable to the Dauphin County Community Fund. Your dollars support the Park!

Guided Groups will be given first priority when scheduling available dates and locations. To help us track larger groups and best steward the Park’s resources, please complete the registration form below. Upon receiving your inquiry, a representative from Wildwood will promptly contact you to confirm details of your trip.
