The Friends of Wildwood established the Memorial Brick Walk in 2007 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Wildwood Park. The Memorial Brick Walkway is located near the Olewine Nature Center in the Memorial Garden.
Your purchase of a Memorial Brick is a way to commemorate a special event in someone’s life; birthdays, anniversaries, honor a friend or family member or remember someone special, including your pets.
New brick orders are accepted anytime. Typically, the brick will be installed within eight weeks after ordering depending on frost and thaw. You will receive a letter recognizing your brick purchase and a notification letter when your brick is installed. The net proceeds from Memorial Brick purchases will continue the educational and environmental mission of the Friends of Wildwood.
- The 4 x 8 brick is $150 and 8 x 8 brick is $200.
- The American Lotus or dog paw icon is an additional $10. It will be centered along the bottom of the brick.
- The 4 x 8 brick has space for 4 lines of text, 21 characters per line (including punctuation and spaces).
- The 8 x 8 brick has space for 8 lines of text, 21 characters per line (including punctuation and spaces).
- All text will be centered. All text is in UPPER CASE LETTERS.
