Environmental Education Summer Internship:
8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and organized intern to prepare for and lead hands-on, outdoor environmental education programs and day camps for school-aged children. The intern will gain valuable experiences learning about natural history, outdoor activities, and teaching techniques. Successful candidates should have a strong desire to teach and share their knowledge of and enthusiasm for the natural world with others. A background in education or the natural sciences is strongly encouraged.
- Currently earning or possessing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Environmental Education, Environmental Science, Education, Parks and Recreation, Biology and/or related fields.
- Strong interest in education, the environment and natural history
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions and the ability to walk Wildwood’s trails and participate in other outdoor activities
