Join Wildwood Volunteer Ann Pacey for an introduction to Plarn. Plarn is a word that combines the terms “plastic” and “yarn.” It is the process of creating a usable upcycled yarn out of plastic grocery bags. Participants will learn how to make “plarn” out of their plastic bags at home and begin making a small bag. Participants who crochet should bring a size “N” crochet hook if they have one at home. Participants that knit should bring size 10 needles. Hooks and needles will be provided to those that need them. Pre-registration required.
