Dragonflies are amazing fliers, but did you know they spend most of their lives underwater? Join a Naturalist to explore the dragonflies of Wildwood Park. During this program we will examine a dragonfly life cycle, discover amazing adaptations and take a brief look at how dragonflies influenced the invention of the helicopter! Then, we will explore the North Boardwalk for close-up views of these incredible insects and create a dragonfly craft to take home. Registrants must be accompanied by a chaperone for the duration of the program; a maximum of one chaperone per child. Space is limited. Pre-registration required.
