Why do we look at groundhogs to predict weather? Are groundhogs good weather predictors? Join a Naturalist to discover more about Groundhog Day and how the amazing groundhog spends the winter. Participants will even get to meet a live groundhog curtesy of our friends at Acorn Acres Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. This program will include a short walk to look for signs of a groundhog den and a search for signs of other burrowing animals. The program will end with a craft to take home! Registrants must be accompanied by a chaperone for the duration of the program. A maximum of one chaperone per child is permitted. Space is limited. Pre-registration required.
