Virtual attendees will discover how predatory insects support biological pest control by feeding on damaging pests, reducing reliance on chemical pesticides, and helping maintain healthy ecosystems and biodiversity. By encouraging these beneficial species, farmers and gardeners can lower pest management costs while protecting the environment. Led by Angela Hartley, Master Gardener of Dauphin County, the program is part of the Gardening with Insects series and features locally relevant imagery of insects photographed in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
