Speaker Bio:
Sally Zaino is one of the founders and the former President of the Manada Conservancy. She chairs the Land Protection Committee, which oversees land protection projects for the Conservancy. In the 25 years since its inception, Manada Conservancy has protected almost 3,000 acres of woodlands, farmlands, waterways, and wildlife habitat in Dauphin County. In 2020, Sally receive the Pennsylvania Forestry Association Mira Lloyd Dock Conservationist of the Year Award for being “a true friend of the forest and land.” She participates in both local and statewide partnerships which recognize both local community and large landscape value in preserving the woodlands of Pennsylvania.
