Trails are snow covered throughout most of the Park. Conditions range from packed snow to ice – Use Caution.
The walkway from the Nature Center to the Paxton Creek Bridge is free of ice/snow.
January 27
The Nature Center bird feeders are active with a variety of species.
January 13
Numerous Canada Geese have been consistently seen on the Lake.
December 18
Both the Delta and North Boardwalks are open.
December 15
The Boardwalks are closed due to icy conditions.
December 10
The Boardwalks are open, and remain a bit icy, please walk cautiously.
November 10
A Brant has been seen on the Lake amongst the Canada Geese.
October 30
Green-winged Teal, Gadwall, Northern Shoveler, Wood Duck, American Wigeon, Northern Pintail, Ring-necked Duck, American Black Duck and even a Eurasian Wigeon have been spotted on the lake.

Wood Ducks continue to dazzle park visitors. They can most commonly be found in the Canal along the Towpath Trail.
