An uncommon visitor to Wildwood, the black bear, was observed in the park. Here are tips if you encounter a black bear: Do not run from or approach it. Remain calm, back away. Observe from a distance and leash pets.

A leucistic (partial albino) likely Broad-winged Hawk was observed along the Towpath. Things are on the move now that the sun is out!
