Join Penn State Master Gardeners Jann Shanaman and Mary Barkal for an overview of vegetable gardening. The presentation will include what to grow when to grow, seeds versus transplants, soil prep, watering, fertilization, harvesting, and how to deal with common pests and diseases. This will be a great starter course to help you grow some of your own food.
Event Details: Come together with Penn State Master Gardeners for a presentation on essential aspects of gardening, including plant selection, seeding, soil prep, watering, fertilization, harvesting, and pest/disease management. For those who attend in person, there will be door prizes, including a raffle for a free rain barrel. Refreshments and giveaway details will be provided for those attending in person.
